Your point about relative vs absolute risk is clearly well founded... no issues if that is the only point of this article.
But you also seem to be arguing that we can eat red meat in relative safety. Are you arguing that? If so we should have some comfort that colon cancer is the primary cancer observed to date regarding red meat. Is that true? Is it the main indicated cancer? Also if one compounds the relative risk over ones lifetime, does it still remain tiny in absolute terms?
