You try to attack both the left and the right as not being really Christian. But your attack on the left as being hollow itself seemed a bit hollow to use your own words. I would agree that both the left and the right adore their leaders and denounce the other guys. Still one could do that and be a Christ follower.

I am not sure you landed a solid blow on the left in this piece as you intended to frame.

(Note: I sit between the left and the right, and feel both sides are blind to the gaps within their own position. So I am a believer in your basic message, just not sure you justified it well in this piece.)

Still this is a very thought provoking piece, and a great bit of Christian writing especially for Medium!
