you call the guys at the top criminals here, but you also notice that their actions stabilized markets, which is a common good.

This suggests:

(1) the guys at the top are personally getting rich from their actions. e.g. the fed chairman.

(2) there is a way to stabalize the markets w/o costing society as much.

Is #1 true? and what is your plan for #2?
