Yes I meant the rank and file want less corruption.

I am from Kentucky, most of the folks I know there come in the "Drill, baby Drill!" variety.

Its not that they don't care about the environment, but the believe the risks are overblown by liberals, and the costs are very real. so they would want to maximize not minimize US fracking for example.

There are climate conscious conservatives I am sure, but I think by the numbers they are in the minority. (I am guessing, it is by a good margin)
