What is after a roomba? Another roomba... until it is not!

What was after the 1990s cell phone? another cell phone, and another. Until the price point for a whole new categories got within range of 2x to 4x more. Then it all switched.

Same here. We now have DeeBot a roomba that mops and sweeps too. this is just more of the same.

But when the cost of a multi-function home butler gets within 10x of a roomba there will be a switch just as their was with the phone.

Sure we want our floors swept. But what about our toilets? taking out trash? getting the door? walking the dog? I think we want those too.

but it cannot be 20K... and it wont be.

that is what is really next. (hehe, but not next year :-)
