Well Jordan is snarky as usual here, but he does have a point. It sucks, but it beats being unemployed.
I will make a prediction: In 3-7 years the postal workers will be lamenting the loss of those Amazon jobs... Amazon is a machine, it will finally get to the place where it can deliver those packages at scale and much cheaper than the postal service. At that point it will be over... and many postal workers will be lamenting the loss of those reliable jobs, and wondering what they will do next.
Meanwhile nearly all other Americans will be a bit richer since their purchasing power will have been increased. not saying it is right... it is what is.
