Well I would prefer winning in a more balanced way. But lets put that aside, WOULD your idea work? My sense is in the swing states one needs to simultaneously do both. Project an optimism about the future, that and fear of the “other guy” is what draws folks to the polls. Unapologetically say ``yes, and we are going to cancel all school debt, then we are going to ….’’
Is what brings swing state voters to the polling booth.. TO VOTE AGAINST THESE MEASURES.
Obama projected a positive future, but did NOT provide ammunition for fear. I am from Kentucky, and I can tell you, Trump exists today not because conservatives loved Trump, it is because they feared liberals.
