We like to point the finger at others. But the truth is, Bezos earns 1/1000th of the US GDP each year -- that is unspeakable wealth for one person, but it is a rounding error when it comes to world wealth. If the USA sneezed it could fund the indefinite end of world hunger if it chose to. Neither Bezos nor we seem to be likely to do this soon.

We like to point our fingers elsewhere, but our hands are black.

It seems to be the real key is finding and funding ways for those at the bottom to provide value.

I think this issue is going to become more urgent as the knowlege economy and automation both mean that fewer people are needed to generate most of the wealth... We are not setup for this situation.
