Hmmm, from my vantage, my life is notably better because I can click a button and eat. Time is really key in my life, and this is a large value.

I credit Uber (and others) for getting us there. The resturants did not band together and give me a single portal for this before. So, I have been given large value by these apps, that no one else was giving me.

That said. 30% profit is LARGE. And it will not stand. We simply need competing platforms (maybe even the non-profit guild as listed below) to cut the profits down.

But if these services did not come in, we would still have NOT have this ability for another decade or longer. Really coordinated home delivery could have been done decades ago, but it takes a mega corp to show the way… and I for one am very happy they did.
