There are many cases were it is appropriate to be skeptical of US military actions.
Still the comparison you make of present use of thermoberic bombs in Ukraine and the US use of 'mother of all bombs' in Afganistan is a poor analogy. Bombing a cave full of combatants is closer to bombing a tank full of soldiers.
Russia's present use of these weapons in urban settings is different since civilians are going to get caught in the cross fire, and many will suffer for their lives.
