the podcast is *weird* so do give it a couple of tries, just as scooter tells you to.
The way in which the podcast works is to short circuit your own thinking... but for this to work, you need to slightly pay attention to what is being said (which is an intentional kind of nonsense). You will be tempted to tune it out, and just go on thinking about your day, or whatever. If you do that it wont work as well. Instead just lightly attend to it, and that nonsense will knock you out. :-)
For me it work even when I will not fall asleep automatically. BUT it will not work if you are very awake, or very anxious. I think you are a tuned to your sleep state so you can tell.
