Taminad, I think this does tell us something about the nature of the world:

Any principle or ideal when driven to the extreme becomes dysfunction. Thus a functional system require competing principles to counter the most toxic results of others.

And the principles must logically be contradictory. It is impossible to precisely specify correct application of an idea over the nearly infinite space of possible situations. Thus one must have principles where not apply at all, or where multiple apply in contradictory fashion.

The latter situation is preferable, since at least it gives you some structure to consider correct action. You must decide which principle should override. Alternatively one would have zero guidance at all, and just do SOMETHING with no basis at all for the choice.

so, yes, I do think it says something about the nature of things.
