Sure they might agree on the facts about penises and such, but there is a real POWER STRUGGLE going on here. The struggle is over which definition of the word "woman" will become the defacto defintion of that word.

In this fight there will be only one winner, and it will affect how people think and act. just as words have always affected they way people think and act.

you cannot white wash the actual fight happening here, as I think you are imagining you can. e.g. maybe you could get broad agreement on two terms: biological woman, self-perceived woman, but that would not resolve the fight, because both will want their definition to be the defacto meaning of "woman"
