Steve this is a bit of a dodge. yes, ok they screwed up in the past. But *now* in the present what should be done?

(My answer is to provide as much aid as we can w/o directly confronting Russian troops with American troops... Nuclear war is all too possible. But in conjunction we need to build the resolve for long standing sanctions, including sanctioning of China and India if they dramatically support Russia. You may argue this is all toothless, but long-term economic degradation is really the only option against a Nuclear Power.)
