But, this conspiracy theory does not hold water. The united states is very very experimental and accepts ideas from all over. (e.g. 6 sigma etc.) But which ideas spread, and which ideas die? My friend, its is those ideas that MAKE MONEY!!! The stripping of middle management resulted in companies that were more profitable. Sorry if that is not a reality that you approve of. but arguing that management consultants systematically implement strategies that don’t save money is just nonsense. It is not their own interest.
