Thanks for your story. When I think about the many in need and limited land and limited budgets I wonder if there is a path where:

(1) those in shelters and group homes did much of the work for the shelter.

(2) where folks in the shelter a segregated by gender and by previous violence.

could we create homes that were cheaper and better and more loved by those who were in them? or am I dreaming?
