oh! “a force for spiritual growth” so you see Christianity as a societal good (this was not obvious to me). and you see virtues in conservative theology (that is a surprise to me). I did understand the slide in liberal theology that you predict, but I could not tell if you saw that as good or bad.

I will just notice that even if what you say is true about belief in Jesus as God is accurate, it is not really a justification that Jesus is God, it is only noticing the social forces that will act upon a group that no longer believes that.
