No, the search that the author (or reader like myself) would have to engage in, to find out what is wrong with this posting would be quite undirected and inefficient (i.e. random).

I thought I learned something from his piece, but if that is incorrect, then I would want to know what mis-information I now have in my head. As it stands, I have no practical path towards towards understanding what is wrong.

But apparently you do know what is wrong with his piece, but are simply not taking the time to write it down, or even provide a hint as to the direction of the issue.

So either you are a crank, and there is nothing wrong with the piece, or you are educated and understand some crucial gap… but are too self-important to spend the time to explain it.

I personally would not want to ‘own’ either of those alternatives.

(Even now, after me giving you such a hard time, it would be awesome to have some idea as to the direction of the gap if it is easily provided)
