no comment here about Elon or the honesty of his suit. But Open AI really has reneged on its original founding covenant.

The entire board structure was specifically designed to not allow corporate profits override concerns for AI safety.

the chief science officer felt so strongly that the CEO was doing that, that he voted to remove him. (then he reversed when it became clear the whole company would end up owned by Microsoft, which I agree would be worse.

but still Open AI is no longer living according to that high ideal. Let all hope things work out ok for humanity in the long run.

(I fear it wont, but I have to admit, I dont think it will be because open AI changed it tune. This genie is out of the bottle and it gonna do what it gonna do.

we cannot stop climate change, and this is SOOOOO much harder to stop.)
