Gays were surgically castrated by the state. Then attacking them was acceptable. Then asking them to shutup (e.g. don’t ask don’t tell). then requiring military and many to accept them in the open, then it became unacceptable in polite company to be openly anti-gay.

It seems there is no movement. But that is wrong.

It seems the movement is too slow. Perhaps. but the only movement that matters is (mostly) the changes in the mind of the populace.

So it is a war (just as the current war over the definition of woman is a war), but those at the edges like to dream a fantasy that they can make progress w/o changing the minds of those far to the other side. They cannot.

Still I agree with you. It aint about talking. it is a war of ideas, and your ideas must reign victorious or you will not reign victorious.
