Nils: What about a THREE state solution?
If Palestinians were given the option of moving to a part of their territory where ALL residence had also signed up to a commitment of having NO MEANS to attack Israel, and a commitment to self-police that no other residence in this area had such means, would they voluntarily come to live in this area, if it meant access to externally supplied jobs and safety from attack from Israel?
And if they would go to this area, could they also successfully self-police so that one one in that region had any means to harm Israel?
If such a region could be created, it seems it would be in Israel's interest that the population of this separated region would grow. And over time if this area was free from Israeli attacks and has some jobs, why wouldn't more Palestinians join it over time? Is this an incremental way out?
