Man, I was so sure this result was bogus. I went back and looked that the study. it is small and male only, but other than that is pretty well designed, and indeed it really shows a difference with chewing!
To be fair, it didn't seem to show loss of weight or calorie burning... but an increase in thermogenesis.
still that does correlate to calorie burning. I could not tell how many calories this might be.
