LOOK AT THE DATA!

The population within the occupied territories is GROWING not SHRINKING. I am not making any comment on who is right or wrong here, I am just to noticing that its not going to end in the way you are saying, or at least if it is, then we are presently going AWAY from that ending.

Here are the TRUTHS of this situation:

(1) As you correctly notice, Israel holds all the cards.

(2) This will only end when ISRAEL decides it is better to end than to continue.

(3) This will only occur on a path where ISRAEL feels safe.

Until then it is business as usual.

Now you can argue Netanyhu is not even trying to end it, and I would agree. Still even if a new leader comes to power and they do want to end it, They will NOT succeed until all three items above are met. Until then it will be business as usual. And not even the USA could force Israel down a path where it does not feel safe. (and the USA is not yet even trying!) Dreaming otherwise is just idle dreaming.

This might sound like a justification for Israel's policies. It is not.

This is simply stating how human "monkeys" will act. (we are very predictable species in that way.)

P. S. I think the USA should take a HARD STANCE against all of the settler actions that we allow to happen. Israel could be quite safe w/o all those settlements, this is an area where we would/should press on Israel.
