Lester, thanks for the response. I think the motivation and the direction is a good one, but it seems it wont have strong effect (or any effect) until an individual employers singular actions will have notable effect on their own taxes… then it will have large effect. Perhaps you want to modify this idea so that somehow an individual employers taxes are connected to their individual contribution to shifts in the Gini. I dont know enough to understand if/how that could happen, but it seems needed. Your car wash example is a nice one, but notice it is more about beliefs that drive effect, not cash in that case. so if you want cash to be the driver, you need to get hyper local so my singular action has large effect for me as an employer. then I think you will get action! cheers, — dan
