Enrique, I agree large parameter models have give ML a new and super powerful tool.

Still I feel today that most all large companies already ARE ML companies... I am in ML, so maybe my view is slanted? but I don't think so. Its is already embedded into most any tool that has access to large amounts of corp data.

So while your statement is true, I am not sure it is news, or marks sea-change. But likely there is we new and WEIRD use cases that involve generative AI (visual, lingual, and later others).

I am not sure that will be as transformative as basic ML, (or maybe I am not being imaginative enough?)

but in any case, THOSE use cases will be really new.

For example, I think fully autonomous customer support will happen and will be amazing. in seconds I will be able to ask any question even the most knowledgeable customer/tech support person could answer, and this system will answer as beautifully as an expert support person would. WOW! I want that right now!

still this will be offered as a simple bolt on service that is driven from the data exhaust from the existing customer service org, so few companies will be left behind. They will just all switch over, save money and deliver a superior experience. (and of course many people will be out of work too.)

perhaps other applications will be harder to build into existing companies... but I am not sure. This is the first AI that seems better at adapting to us, than we are able to adapt to it.

perhaps it will be EASIER to integrate???
