It is refreshing online, to see anyone concede most anything… the medium is more conducive to shouting. On the topic of abortion, I personally cannot see my way forward to an entirely satisfactory position. On the one hand control over ones body seems quite supreme. But so does society’s responsibility to advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves. e.g. mentally impaired, or those in a coma who are likely to recover.

After all a fetus is likely to “recover” right? e.g. be born.

Still society deciding the definition for a mom seems wrong.

Except we do insist to decide that definition in many other cases.

Yeah, I cannot see my way clear at all.

And I accept this woman perspective as valid, even if she over generalizes the reasons that people get abortions; her idea about why they do it, is not completely wrong… not in all cases anyway.

cheers
