Indeed the analogy is a great one.

but all the things they said about the internet back in 1995 turned out to be TRUE.

But it took longer than expected, thus it seemed like hype. and if you were an investor, it was hype for many. Yet for some it turned into trillion dollar companies.

It will be the same here. The hype is true, yet it will take longer than expected, there will be a bubble, and many will loose. and yet, even wild predictions now, likely will eventually turn out true... just a decade later.
