Imagine you are Albert the ant crawling on the surface of a balloon, and beta the bee comes over and says, you know our balloon has been expanding from a very tiny size in the past.

and Albert says... oh yeah? So then why can't can you point out the direction where it is expanding from???

since everything is expanding directly away from us, WE must be at the center right???
