If we limited cars to 30/mph we could save many lives. If we double the cost of cars putting in every safety device ever conceived we could save lives.

So we already are trading lives for dollars and convenience... Nothing new here.

The question is, how many excess deaths per mile is tesla adding over the 50K deaths we have annually in the USA? If these are small numbers then what is the issue? If they are large, we have a problem, but nothing here suggests they are large. Are they?
