I very much agree with your extension…. well except how it relates to the state.

• The left wants to protect individuals from corporations much more than the right (although they are both moving in that direction). So agree with you.
• But the right generally pushes for state-rights over federal-rights and individual-rights over state-rights. Whereas the left is concerned that all of those individual rights are going to cause the powerless to be harmed. (e.g. gun rights, information privacy)

big picture the left sees the state as the tool for justice, the right sees it as a central CAUSE of injustice. (e.g. Regan’s famous quote)
