I think you said it accurately in your last sentence. Russia launched a multi-prong, multi-direction attack with many missiles trying to overwhelm a patriot system comprising over a dozen launchers, the patriot system launched back, and one of the Russian missiles blew up NEAR one of the launchers, causing damage, but not destroying it. Hard to tell how much damage... it would be nice to know if it is repaired on site, or taken back. But either way, one can hardly say they successfully took out a patriot system. They dented it.

my understanding is that nearly all Russian missiles were hit. Do you think this is not true?
