I feel like this is not the whole story. I wonder what the total cost per calorie would be, relative to other meats and foods? Even with robots doing all the work, I wonder what it would be.

Also I feel these critters need to expend alot of energy to build that shell. (and they would deplete the water too over time it seems)

I just wonder if it really would be sustainable.
