Hmmm, I am often hiring folks into roles where I don't have full technical depth so I like to get two independent assessments from two experts and then myself. I guess that is not so different. But even for a standard software dev, I still hope to get a second opinion from at least one other person who was in a separate call.

and if I am assessing fit and expertise often it runs over an hour by a bit, but perhaps I am not the most efficient in drilling for exactly that info needed.
