HERE IS A REFERENCE

Tara, one of your reader lamented that you had not references or examples to suport your point. It is a valid criticism. Here I will provide what I think is an example:

The is a google search for "Defund the police":

https://www.google.com/search?q=defund+the+police&newwindow=1&client=firefox-b-1-d&sxsrf=AOaemvJt1Dpb23yxGyvIfcLWW_6j1lkK9g:1636922896187&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiNr4H-3Jj0AhVyCTQIHcTXAwkQ_AUoAnoECAEQBA&biw=1752&bih=1071&dpr=1.5

Some liberals will explain this does not mean literally what it says... to abolish cops by removing their funding...

"Stop cop crime" would be a unifying message. Instead saying "defund" shows a real HATE of the cops. That is divisive message and I agree with Tara, the over-reach here looses many people who value the cops.

The left cannot see how they are seen, so they don't realize the massive costs, it pays for this arrogance. Indeed I believe four years of Trump was one such cost.
