Hehe, now that level of humility and introspection is simply not allowed on Medum! It is rarely seen!

Well we are BOTH hoping you are more right than wrong.

Sadly, however, in this moment we have created a perfect storm:

- internal political strife and gridlock

- repeated games of chicken threatening default

- weaponization of SWIFT

- regular brow-beating of allies when their actions offend our morality.

- years of Q.E. to our great benefit and other nation's notable cost.

Yeah, at some point this stuff will catch up with you! My only hope is that America wakes up in time to reverse course... but that is a lot of stuff to reverse!!

I do think as you say, there is yet latent strength in this slumbering beast. but MAN it better quit sleeping soon!
