Feels like a good secondary philosophy for life.
Several times you prevaricated and noted we should have a bit of ambition and not be too hedonistic (present meaning), but really this philosophy provides no basis for either.
So for me, it is a nice wake up call to ALSO think like an epicurean on some occasions. But building ones life on such a basis seems like a recipe for depression.
if one only lives for enjoyment, one ultimately lives for nothing.
Still I think as a SECONDARY consideration it could be a powerful counter-point to many primary drivers of meaning.
at least that is my arm-chair reaction.
