Do you have a reference showing the cost of dislocations will reach many trillion with high certainty? Is this a 'known' thing?

and it seems to me if we are talking about trillions of dollars in mitigation costs, why aren't we spending BILLIONS now, on crazy approaches to reducing temperature... I bet one of them would work (no doubt with side effects) still as you frame it, the "side effects" that are coming are likely worse.
