David, I was looking forward to reading from a cogent skeptic. I feel disappointed.

In a nutshell you argue that since CO2 is increasing monotonically, then if temperatures are not increasing monotonically then it cannot be a causal factor.

This is not how causal factors work. You need not be the ONLY causal factor in order to be ONE OF the causal factors!

So either you really are:

-1- Profoundly ignorant of the basics of the space you are writing about. In that case please stop.

-2- You are being intentionally obtuse, and trying to put forward arguments you don't actually believe. In that case please stop.

-3- There is some other explanation here. I am open to it. So what is that explanation? please tell us.
