But surely you don't mean ZERO Gazans, there are two million people in Gaza. There is no question you could ask any human population with 2 million people where you would get a unanimous answer.
And many many folks on the left in the USA believe that most don't really support wiping Israel out... they are just desperate. But if given a way out they would take it.
So give it to them!!
Create a tiny Enclave with a tiny minority that zealously accepts the need to preserve Israeli security. And PROVE to the left around the world that Israel could be a GREAT neighbor to any who will help ensure it security.
And prove it to the Palestinians too. A lot of the rhetoric about Israel is that really it just wants the oil under the land, or does not want to give the water or whatever. But all of these arguments are undercut by an Enclave with that accepts Gazans who willingly support security.
I think year over year, this would undercut propaganda that Israel can never be satisfied to be a peaceful neighbor.
If there was stability, better jobs, etc. in this Enclave, I predict over time you would see a growing flow into it.
but either way. MORALLY right now Israel is guilty of applying a group punishment to a whole population that are not 100% guilty. A minority at least do not support Hamas and do not support violence, but they too are punished with no-way out one generation to the next. If Israel gives each family them a way out, and they don't take it. Well Israel is no longer guilty!
If this existed and nearly no one comes, we can tell those on the left to shut up, because Gazan's really are not ready to afford security for Israel thus why should Israel relax their grip.
And if every increasing floods of people are willing to accept a responsibility to secure Israel, then I feel Israel has a responsiblity to help those willing folks to overcome the handicap that has befallen them in order to keep Israel secure.
It is a win-win no matter what happens!
