I agree with Bill Hamilton that things devolved into "word salad," so the result was less than it might have been. Still it is an critical debate, so if you think you can focus it more, you should try again.
To my mind the critical aspect of your divergence of opinion is over whether the issues being tackled in the last decade are of high importance, and whether the liberal agenda on those issues is effective in improving them.
Benjamin clearly thinks they are mostly issues of the past, and the action of present day liberals provides little advancement, while Keith believes the opposite. Even though you are both Philosophers if you stick to evidence supporting or refuting those central claims I feel it could be a very productive discussion.
