an interesting theory. It did not seem like the protestors that broke in, actually thought they would break in, nor did it seem they had much of a plan once they broke in.

Many sat around taking photos of themselves sitting in famous locations and such. If this had been a real plan of his, it seems there would have been a crack team of professionals that would have zoomed to just the right places.

still in a more general sense, perhaps Trump just wanted to sow discord but also not be tied to any particular actions in a strong way... and was just hoping that some shit would go down, which he could capitalize on???

he really pushed Pence hard, and views him as a traitor for not bowing. I think he planned to use that action politically. to declare the election was not certified. not sure what else that would connect with.
