... also Catholic and I married after 50. Churches are not organized to cover your case... I think mostly because, by the numbers it is a smaller group, and your needs and life perspective are really different from those still focused on getting married as their central next step. So those are the benign reasons for this.
And of course the church also has a very definite position on your life path. the aim folks towards marriage and then very directly towards kids. so your path is not one it wants to focus on.
If you are in a major metro, you certainly can find a few like minded folks. (maybe a meetup?) I found you don't need to have many like you, to feel pretty connected.
(your habits are quite millennial in nature, I cannot imagine many our age being willing to publish this piece! cudos.)
