Agreed. The rational threat to non-EASTERN European nations is very small. But I have seen claims that some right wing politicians in Russia have already spoken about other eastern European nations as being "next". I have not researched enough to know what the truth is. But it seems pretty clear to me based on who is given HUGE percents of their own weapons which nations themselves feel they might be next. They are all former soviet block nations.

Regardless of anything else, it seems we have to acknowledge their is actual fear among former Soviet nations that Russia will attack them.
