A sadly accurate picture. I do think it is not quite 1985. At least the apple of today knows its brand is about aesthetics, so it does keep innovating in that direction. But it takes real vision to see a new mode so clearly that you can bet a chunk of your company on it, and not fail. Even for Jobs he only did this a few times, I am sure each one was quite a leap into the abyss. Cook never had this in his DNA. Still it seems their leadership would see the need for it though????
